Ground Breaking Progress

Hello my name is Jacob Kukuk President of the Darrington Internet Users Association (DIUA), when starting this Non Profit Internet Service Provider (ISP) in July of 2017 I didn’t know where it would lead, now with 7 board meetings under our belt, 37 members, over $10,000 in contributions, and countless support from government agencies and local community organizations we are making ground breaking progress.

We have established our network transport provider and the final infrastructure agreements are taking place that will enable construction of backhaul equipment allowing us to deliver service to your home or business. With my goal of getting high speed Internet Service to many of you by late 2018, I’m confident me and my team will make it happen.

I would like to say a big thanks to the team who is working hard to ensure this project is a success and has the best interest of the community and its members. This team includes Jeromy Statia our Vice President/Board Member, Justin Sisney our Secretary/Board Member, and the remaining board members Drew Bono the Board Chair, Joseph Mcconnaughy, and Kaleb Wyatt.

We invite you to attend one of our board meetings to learn or ask questions. They are held on the first Thursday of each month at the Darrington Fire station unless otherwise posted.
